Boy's Cards

These seem to me the hardest to do, no one wants a fussy old man card, but have to try not to be too kiddie with them either I think. I love this paper with the Ian in his skull shirt, he is copic coloured with sakura glaze to make the little skull stand out

Weddings

We've been invited to two wedding receptions this year, Good excuses to make a couple of cards, this little anya wedding topper I've coloured her hair with Copic Spica in yellow and added a couple of gems for flowers, The guys themselves are coloured with Prisma colour.

Lots going on

There's been so many changes at work I haven't had time to sit down and get many cards done!
They are now up for sale though so thats the first step, just need people to buy them now!

Super Super Super excited, this weekend is Download festival, I'm going on the Saturday, my fav bands are on that day. The ticket arrived today, that's the problem, I ordered tickets plural!!!!
Been on the phone for 40 mins holding to be told they'll ring me back! Typical. Well fingers well and truly crossed.

Copic colour challenge and spoon full of sugar

Decided to put touch feely with my copic challenge this week, I wanted to do a little more Greeting Farm customising with the stamps and my new cuttlebug haunted house came so..... These were the colours given

http://www.copicscolourchallenge.blogspot.com/

Used Flesh for hair with sand highlights with a sand broomstick stem. I'd heard about using copics to colour ribbon so decided to try it on some twig style fibres for the broom stick with the walnut. distressed with Tim Holtz distress tool its all strokeable lol.

Cute Card Thursday and the Secret Crafter Challenge

I wanted to try something a little different with this one so went for a frame card, first time I have made a 3d card! actually went right on my first time attempt, which is pretty good for me as I seem to have a problem doing things straight, must be my wonky eyes.
This weeks challenge at cute card Thursday was shiny shiny so I though I'd combine it with the Saturday Challenge which is Flowers, oh lovely shiny leaves.... well punching foil was an experience!! Here's the finished result.

My Gorjuss Girls

I was one of the lucky people to have ordered the gorjuss girls set two and I’m having so much fun with them! They are so cute they can be dressed up, down, emo’d and goth’d! I’ve had a play with a couple of them but have plenty more to do.

Cant wait for the bank holiday weekend, Saturday I have a whole day to play with my new anya stamps, copics and prisma, this little gorjuss girl was coloured with prisma’s and sansodour for a watercolour lineless effect.

I'm going to the Kent and Weald craft show this weekend too, am super excited, fingers crossed for sunny times

Just warming up

Ok so just trying to get into the swing of this whole blogging thing, got myself a twitter account too! Just got to remember to update the thing now! I will probably go mental with updates for the next few weeks and then the novelty will wear off!

My geisha Anya stamp was delivered this morning can’t wait to get started on some eastern inspired cards! At the moment though I am loving my Sugar Nellie gorjuss girls, there’ll be a couple of them up in the next few days!

I’ve added a couple of my cards so far so you can all come on the journey with me as I learn new tricks and see if I grow! I’m taking a few classes so who knows! There are no limits but your imagination.

Acetate stamping with white Staz-On gives fantastic effect!!

Half acetate front with Jane’s Script sentiment, clever use of bow to hide join and used art glitter glue as dries totally clear

Threading water border punch, flowers were stamped three times, cut out and silicone glued to give decoupage effect.
